Most of this is common sense, but here's a list of what we do and don't do when we visit your van which form the terms and conditions of our service:-

When draining down your caravan:

• We Leave electricity and gas supply as you left it - if it's on we leave it on.
• We put antifreeze in washbasins, sinks, showers and toilet pans.
• We remove drain bungs and leave them in your caravan.
• We do not disconnect gas appliances.
• We do not drain central heating systems, only the domestic water side of your combi boiler as the system should already be protected with antifreeze. ( We recommend that this is checked to ensure it is protected from frost).
• We do not guarantee washing machines or dishwashers but will remove as much water as possible.

When recommissioning your caravan:

• We do turn the water off again at the stop tap outside to minimise the risk of damage in case frost damage occurs after reconnection and your arrival at your caravan.
• We do not turn on or reconnect gas appliances
• We do not guarantee your caravan for leaks and leaking washers. Any leak repairs are chargeable. Please remember a leaking washer is different to a burst.
• We do not guarantee your caravan from frost damage once reconnection has taken place.
• We strive to leave your caravan as we find it. After all, your caravan is your home and we respect that. However,due to wintery conditions, it is impossible for us to stay spotlessly clean. Whereas we will always wear shoe protectors on entering your caravan we can't remove outerwear, therefore we suggest you take precautions by laying dust sheets down where we need to go as well as a doormat in the doorway.

Any issues found in regards to gas safety will be documented and the necessary paperwork will be left in the van. If it is necessary for us to disconnect the supply or an appliance for safety reasons we will leave you a note saying so and will try to contact you via one of the telephone numbers on the booking form below.
