WATER DRAIN DOWN &
RECONNECTION SERVICE
We provide a complete water drain down service for holiday home owners who want to prevent frost damage to their caravan across the winter months. We now offer two solutions to the problem, each with their own merits:
OPTION 1:
AUTOMATED DRAIN DOWN SYSTEM
We come and fit an integrated compressor into your holiday home, normally in the boiler cupboard. Then whenever you are going to leave your caravan before winter you can switch the device on and drain down the van yourselves by opening and closing taps as required. The system is fully automatic and means that you can come back to your holiday home whenever you wish through winter and redrain the van before you leave.
OPTION 2
TRADITIONAL DRAIN DOWN
We will visit your holiday home by arrangement and shut down the water supply. We then manually exhaust all water by compressed air and turn off all appliances.
This service is often undertaken at the same time as the annual gas safety test.
Once the system is drained, the holiday home owner would not normally return to the caravan until the weather has warmed up. We will reconnect the water supply as part of the service.
